Wuzzlo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bahar alafdal ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the Wuzzlo mobile application (the "App").

2. Data We Collect and Why We Collect It

We collect information to provide, manage, and improve the App. Our legal bases for processing this data include the performance of our contract with you (providing the game), your consent (for personalized advertising and optional features), and our legitimate interests (security, analytics, and fraud prevention).

• Account Data: We collect your User ID, Email Address, and Display Name (via Firebase Auth, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In) to manage your account and save your progress. Guest users are assigned an anonymous User ID.
• Game Progress & Economy Data: We store your level progress, word progress, wallet balance, inventory, achievements, missions, and streaks.
• Purchases & Receipts: We process in-app purchases via Apple App Store and Google Play. We retain transaction history and receipts for functionality and fraud prevention.
• Analytics & Diagnostics: We collect crash logs, performance data, device information, app instance IDs, and IP-derived coarse location to fix bugs and improve performance. This may include a temporary audio diagnostic channel.
• Advertising Data: If you consent, we collect Device IDs (including Apple IDFA and Android Advertising ID) and interaction data to serve personalized advertisements.

3. Public and Social Data

Certain information is visible to other players by design. This includes your username, avatar, ratings, and your position on leaderboards. Please do not use your real name or personal information in your username.

4. Third-Party Services

We use several third-party services that collect and process data on our behalf:

• Firebase Services: We use Firebase Auth, Cloud Firestore, Realtime Database, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, and Cloud Storage (for user-uploaded avatars). Firebase processes data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers to personalize ads. You are asked for consent for personalized ads (e.g., via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework) and can manage these preferences in your device settings.

5. Microphone and Speech Processing

The App includes pronunciation practice features that require microphone access. Audio processing is handled by your device's native speech recognition services (e.g., Apple Speech or Google Speech Services).

Audio may be transmitted to your device's platform provider (Apple or Google) for processing, depending on your device configuration and network availability.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You can request the deletion of your account at any time within the App's settings.

• Guest Accounts: Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
• Permanent Accounts: Deletion is processed after a 30-day grace period, during which you can cancel the request.
• Data Removed: Upon deletion, your user profile, game progress, social graph, diagnostic records, and authentication records are permanently erased.
• Financial Retention: For compliance and fraud prevention, purchase and ledger records are stripped of your User ID, assigned a random receipt ID, and retained as anonymized financial records for 7 years before deletion.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the country in which you are resident (primarily the United States, via Google Cloud infrastructure). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for these transfers.

8. Children's Privacy

Wuzzlo is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. We use a neutral age-gate screen to prevent users under 13 from creating an account or transmitting data. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Delete your personal information (via the in-app settings).
• Withdraw consent for personalized advertising.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.

Terms of Service

By using Wuzzlo, you agree to the following terms:

• The app is provided "as-is" without guarantees of continuous availability.
• You are responsible for your account credentials and activity.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app or services.
• We reserve the right to modify or terminate service at any time.
• All intellectual property remains the property of Wuzzlo and its developers.
